This was one of my very first machining projects. All of the machining was done on manual machines, NO CNC! Circa 1990. Using CadKey software and carefully calculating angles and tangents, I used a manual milling machine and a rotary table to produces this fuel injection pump. This unique and novel pump is capable of 6000 rpm shaft speed (four-stroke pumps run at 1/2 crank speed, this pump having capacity to fuel a 12,000 rpm four-stroke engine), has on-the-fly variable start, end, and dwell of injection, as well as variable accumulated pressure.
