I designed and built a number of these valves for testing diesel locomotive engines. It has a very high flow rate and functions perfectly.
Unlike competing designs, mine has a tapered throttling pintle that provides very consistent fuel flow at low flows–critical for the locomotive research being conducted. These valves have superb turn-down ratio and flow consistency. The client was very pleased.
